HENRY REYES, HEAD COACH, FOUNDER
Henry has been a pillar of Bay Area Field Hockey for going on four decades! As a high school field hockey coach at Los Gatos High School for the past 32 seasons, Henry's record stands at 501-62-37. He's won 23 league championships, 17 CCS Championships, taken the squad to 25 CCS finals, and brought the team to the playoffs 32 years in a row.
He's extremely proud that predominantly all of his coaching staff is alumni coming back to the program to lend their knowledge and give back to the hockey community. On a personal note, he loves his wife, his daughters, his grandkids, his bulldogs, and Sunday dinners. -
ANITA WIERIMA, ASSISTANT COACH, STAFF DIRECTOR
As one of Henry’s two daughters, Anita has been around hockey her whole life. After playing at LGHS and UC Berkeley, she came back to coach at Los Gatos alongside her dad. She has been coaching for the last 15 years. Anita is a CCS Player of the Year, High School All-American and a member of the LGHS Athletic Hall of Fame.
Anita loves 80s pop music, a great movie quote, a well-made bakery item, volunteering her time to help others, and her beautiful family. -
ALISON FELL, ASSISTANT COACH, MARKETING + OPERATIONS
As Henry’s youngest daughter, it’s safe to say Alison is always pushing the boundaries of what could be possible at the program. As a player, Ali played four fun years as a center forward in the Varsity program and won almost all the things you could win. However, her biggest achievement to this day is the dedicated work she’s put into the sisterhood that’s still holding strong after all these years.
You can find Ali adventuring with her family, playing with her 3 dachshunds, working out on her Peloton tread, getting a fresh manicure, or running the aux at practice. -
ANGIE BURSESE, ASSISTANT COACH, FUNDAMENTALS SPECIALIST
“Hi hi!” — Angie Bursese played field hockey for 4 years at Los Gatos High School under Coach Reyes and was a pivotal part of the defense in her time on the program. Following graduation, she joined the coaching staff helping guide young athletes in fundamental game development, and has been with us ever since. 14 years later it is Angie’s true happy place to pass on tips, tricks, and to watch everyone grow.
Angie’s guilty pleasures include making memories with her gorgeous family, crafting something you could have bought on ETSY, top buns, sunglasses, and teaching short corner inserts. -
Caitlin Lincoln, Assistant Coach, Physical Education Specialist
Caitlin is an LGFH alumni who has been coaching for 6 years. As a PE teacher, she enjoys teaching and coaching kids of all ages, but her true passion lies on the hockey field. She loves helping players develop their skills and work on game play concepts, especially when it comes to defense.
Caitlin is also our resident Swiftie and can be found dancing to her favorite songs, making friendship bracelets, creating memories with her wonderful family, hitting on the goalies, and keeping us all in line!
